We meet families where they are and reduce barriers by offering integrated services under one mission: programs that strengthen relationships, build skills, increase food access, and support spiritual resilience.

A wife, mother, and woman of faith, LaVette believes that family is where love takes root and purpose begins to grow. Through The Homegrown Way, she's turning her passion for strengthening families into meaningful experiences that nurture connection, inspire growth, and build lasting legacies.

With a heart for bringing people together, LaVette has always lived by a simple motto: “Make memories. Create moments.” It's more than a saying—it's the heartbeat behind everything she hopes to cultivate through The Homegrown Way.

Through educational experiences, workshops, and community events, Denice is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for families to learn, connect, grow, and thrive—because she believes building a stronger community begins at home.
